CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS:
The frame of the chair is made of excellent quality solid TEAK wood, which gives it sturdiness and great durability. When we refer to solid wood, we mean wood made entirely from the trunk of a tree. Solid wood is the most expensive choice in terms of wood but stands out for its timeless aesthetics.
TEAK is the most popular type of hardwood. It is yellow to dark brown in color, extremely heavy, high strength, weather resistant, warp resistant and does not decompose. Often, the “waters” of this wood are strong and straight. It is used for many interior constructions.
The seat and back are made of knitted VIRO rope. VIRO rope is a synthetic rope made of HDPE (High-density polyethylene). VIRO mimics the beauty of tropical hyacinth, but its fibers are all-weather and eco-friendly. HDPE is completely UV resistant so its color does not fade in sunlight.
MAINTENANCE:
The fact that TEAK is included in hardwoods makes it very easy to maintain. All it needs is a dusting and when necessary, a cleaning with a damp cloth. The same applies for VIRO rope as well.
